What is managed IT security?
Managed IT security means a service provider runs and watches your security systems. You do not need your own experts for the firewall, antivirus and alerts. We set things up, install updates, watch and respond. We also tell you on a regular basis what happened.
The parts work together. Protection with EDR spots attacks on laptops and servers. The email filter stops phishing. Our monitoring links all the warnings. For this we use, for example, a SIEM. It collects the logs of all systems in one place.

- Yes. It puts many duties from the German BSIG into daily practice. Examples are fixing weak spots, sign-in with a second factor and handling incidents. The duties of senior management and the reports to authorities still stay with you.
